The healing effect of family constellations in chronic diseases

Diseases often represent an unrecognized family member

In episode 35 of my podcast 'From Pain to Being' I explain how chronic diseases are often the result of entanglements within the family system.

In family constellations I see again and again that a chronic illness represents someone from the family system who has not been seen or recognized. The background of the disease or chronic allergy is love for this person.

I discuss the most common backgrounds of addictions, asthma, anorexia, bulimia, back pain, cancer, depression, neurodermatitis and suicidal tendencies.
